Your data, your control
This page is maintained by LawSaathi to answer common trust and privacy questions about the platform.
Uploaded documents are not kept
We send your file to the AI engine only to generate the analysis. We store only the file name, type, language and the generated summary, risks and clauses.
- Maximum 8 MB per file.
- The original file is never stored in the LawSaathi database.
- Files are processed only to produce the AI analysis.
What we store
Guest chats live only in your browser. Signed-in accounts store chat threads, drafts and document analyses in your personal workspace.
Guest users
Nothing is saved on our servers. Chats stay only in your browser session.
Signed-in accounts
Threads, messages, drafts and document analyses are linked to your account.
Manage consent & deletion
You choose when to sign in. Delete chat threads anytime, and email us to delete your account, drafts and document history.
- Delete chat threads anytime using the delete option next to each thread.
- Email us to fully delete your account, drafts and document history.
- Signing in is optional — research and chat without creating an account.
Security & hosting
LawSaathi runs on Lovable Cloud's managed backend, authentication and database. Each account's data is isolated by authentication and row-level security (RLS).
We do not sell or share your data with third parties for marketing purposes.
Shared responsibility
Lovable Cloud manages platform security, uptime and infrastructure. The LawSaathi app owner controls what data is collected, stored and how it is used. Please keep your account secure and share sensitive documents carefully.
