This page is maintained by Kanoon-AI to answer common trust and privacy questions about the platform.
How uploaded files are handled
Your file is processed by Kanoon-AI and the applicable AI providers to generate the analysis. The original file is not retained in Kanoon-AI's application database after processing; the file name, type, language and the generated analysis may be saved to your account as described in our Privacy Policy.
- Maximum 8 MB per file.
- The uploaded file is processed to produce the analysis. We keep the file name, type and generated analysis in your account — we do not retain the original file in our database. Supported files are text-based PDF, DOCX and TXT.
- Files are processed only to produce the AI analysis.
What we store
Guest chats are not saved as signed-in workspace history, though technical and session data may be processed for quota, security and reliability. Signed-in accounts store chat threads, drafts and document analyses in your personal workspace.
Guest users
Guest conversations are not saved as signed-in workspace history. Kanoon-AI may process limited technical information such as request metadata, security logs and session identifiers where necessary to operate, secure and improve the service, as described in our Privacy and Cookie Policies.
Signed-in accounts
Threads, messages, drafts and document analyses are linked to your account.
Manage consent & deletion
You choose when to sign in. Delete chat threads anytime, and delete your account, drafts and document history yourself from Settings → Account → Delete Account. If you cannot sign in, contact us as a fallback.
- Delete chat threads anytime using the delete option next to each thread.
- Delete your account and saved workspace data yourself from Settings → Account → Delete Account.
- Signing in is optional — research and chat without creating an account.
Security & hosting
Kanoon-AI runs on Lovable Cloud's managed backend, authentication and database. Each account's data is isolated by authentication and row-level security (RLS).
We do not sell or share your data with third parties for marketing purposes.
Shared responsibility
Lovable Cloud manages platform security, uptime and infrastructure. The Kanoon-AI app owner controls what data is collected, stored and how it is used. Please keep your account secure and share sensitive documents carefully.
